212 was a public forum in form of a magazine. The definition "magazine" this case meant the regular release of the platform 212. 212 was bi-monthly issued, and free of the usual limitations of form and content like in conventional magazines.

The 212 issues contained an object with a structure to arrange the individual works within, a gadget and a packaging container, which interacts together with the single parts. Form and content of the 212 issues vary in every release. 212 has no fixed form and no content specifications. For example, it is possible for one issue to be sewn onto a bag, and the next issue to be produced as a plastic ice-cube tray or in a form of a classic print magazine. Suggestions for complete issue-ideas and concepts were welcome and could be made by anyone.
